A Director's Workshop Follow-Up Meeting
Kahite Clubhouse Restaurant, Vonore, TN
Please RSVP Larry Zinn, discussion leader, at
lzinn2@cs.com if you plan to attend.
Even if you missed the Director's Workshop, you are welcome to attend and
participate in discussion. Our panel of local experienced directors recently led the
group in lecture oriented presentations that gave insight into directing a play for
community theatre productions.  The only thing lacking in our Director's Workshop
was time to have a proper question and answer period. The noon meeting at Kahite
will provide this opportunity for everyone.
LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. However,
we suggest that you plan to have your own lunch at the Grill, and  then join us for our
discussion and workshop follow-up.

           New Members and Volunteers Welcome!

The Tellico Community Players have provided live entertainment to the Tellico
community for over 20 years.  Our mission is to make each production an
    enjoyable theater experience.

We are all volunteers. Some of our members have extensive theatre experience
working alongside others with limited or no stage experience. Everyone is
    welcome to join the fun.

In addition to acting, you might want to try some of our backstage or behind-the-
scenes opportunities. We welcome those who would like to work in various
capacities, such as sound system operation, stage lighting, costumes, stage
make-up, set design, set construction, publicity, and stage properties (props).
Maybe you are an established Tellico Player who would like to try something
new this year. However you wish to become involved in the Tellico Community
Players Family, we welcome you. Consult the EVENTS Of Note schedule on
this web page for the many opportunities coming up during the 2012 season.
    Thanks!

    Put On Your Thinking Caps
    and Whip Out Those Pens!

The Prime Time Players are writing our own program
to celebrate the Tellico Village 25th Anniversary.
Since our presentation format uses various kinds of
literature as our source, we thought we'd test our
creative writing skills and parody select works of the
masters using ideas gleaned from our world here in
Tellico Village. We were already rolling in the aisles
at a recent brainstorming session for topics that we can
    explore in our show.

This is a chance for all of you who have a wonderful
sense of humor and a witty way of expressing it to ply
your trade in written form. Yes, we are going to write
our own parodies and have the time of our lives poking
fun at ourselves and our neighbors in Tellico Village.
We will begin writing on Tuesday, May 1 at 10:00 AM
at the Playhouse. Bring pencil, paper, and any pieces of
literature from Shakespeare to Dr. Seuss that you would
like to parody for our reader's theatre presentation in
celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Tellico Village
    in October.

Any questions....contact Debbie Mayberry at 865-458-
    7929 or sdmayberry@charter.net
